Timothy Carentz
World Missionary Associate
Rev. Timothy Carentz Sr joined the International Ministry Network in May 2017. He hails from Queens, New York, & enlisted into the U.S. Air Force in July 1994, at the age of 17. During his 23-year career, Tim served with distinct honor as a critical care specialist, a first responder to the Pentagon on 9/11, cared for ~25,000 critically wounded warriors, and retired as a Chief Master Sergeant in 2018. Tim received his calling to Germany as a child & into ministry while on a 7-year assignment in Germany in 2009.
As a wounded warrior, Tim’s passion continues to focus on Peer-Led Support-Groups for those combatting Invisible Wounds. His plan is to return to Germany and open a Christ-Focused Military Resiliency Center for the ~75,000 American military families serving in & transitioning through Germany. Tim is excited about working with local churches and military chaplains to bring opportunities for military members and their families to find deeper levels of resiliency through faith in Christ.
The ‘Kaiserslautern Military Community’ is surrounded by 10 military installations, contains the largest settlement of Americans outside of the U.S.A., is the transient location for service members deploying to/from the combat zone, & Landstuhl is the primary medical hub for those ill/wounded across Europe, Africa, & the Middle East.
Tim earned his Master of Divinity (MDiv) via Liberty University & is currently working toward a Doctorate in Ministry (DMin) via Assemblies of God Theological Seminary. The focus of his studies includes: intercultural communications, diversity, biblical studies, & resiliency. He has been serving as a credentialed AG minister since 2012.
