Greetings to the District! I am so pleased to have been invited to contact each church of the IMN regarding BGMC! My husband, Walter, and I have been married twenty-two years and have a driving passion to serve the Lord and see the lost brought into His Kingdom.   As a volunteer for years in Kids Ministry, as well as a parent of kids excited for BGMC, I can personally tell you the joy in having a BGMC program in our churches.  As my kids (Josiah, now 18, and Rachel, now 16) learned a heart for missions through BGMC, they adopted lifelong giving habits to support our missionaries—not in order to meet goals, but because they saw the power of funding the work of the Kingdom.  Then, as our family headed to the mission field in India, they saw firsthand the impact of those dollars given—so many people can be touched with the gospel if those who can give, do.

Currently, as the Kids Pastor of Blue Roof Church, I am again so blessed to see how giving to BGMC lets our kids have an active role in the missions of the AG.  BGMC was established as the Assemblies of God missions division for the children of AG churches.  We are privileged to be part of a fellowship that not only values missions, but also understands that if kids catch the vision of funding missions at an early age, they will forever be drawn to missions—whether in a personal commitment to join the mission field, or to use their resources to send those who are committed to go.

It is truly my joy to make myself available to you and help you grow the excitement for missions in your own church’s kids ministry.  I look forward to future communications with you as we connect your church with BGMC resources and ideas, and I cannot wait to hear your testimonies of the hearts drawn to missions within the kids of the IMN!
